Musicthon is a Broward County Music Teachers Association Annual Fundraiser for Scholarships as well as other charitable causes.
Dear Parents and Students,
MUSICTHON is Broward County Music Teachers Association’s (BCMTA) primary fundraiser partnering with a local charity each year. This year we are partnering with 4Kids of South Florida, the primary intake facility for children removed from their homes, due to a crisis. BCMTA’s motto is “Kids Playing for Kids in Crisis.”
BCMTA is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Florida State Music Teachers Association and Music Teachers National Association. Your tax deductible donation will help provide funding for music scholarships to the students of BCMTA members and support many other vital student activities. As an organization, BCMTA is dedicated to promoting the growth and professional development of its members by providing educational resources and programs that encourage and support the highest level of teaching, performance, and study of the art of music.

MUSICTHON will be held Friday at 7:00 for our studio. Please try to arrive 10 minutes early.
Our local BCMTA teachers will each be presenting their students in back to back performances throughout the weekend. Situated in a focal point of the mall, shoppers will enjoy exciting live performances and be given the opportunity to learn about BCMTA and 4Kids of South Florida. BCMTA encourages our students to take part in helping charitable organizations by sharing their musical gifts and talents. Please contribute what you can to support their performances.
Please begin your fundraising before Christmas. Students will be seeing friends and family over the holidays that may like to contribute. Thank you for your support!
All donation Checks should be made payable to BCMTA. Also, students may donate to BCMTA directly via the BCMTA PAYPAL LINK. Please make sure that it is listed on your sponsor Tally Sheet.
TOTEBAGS FOR PARTICIPATING STUDENTS AND TEACHERS:
Each participant in Musicthon 2022 will receive a totebag, so please dress nicely. No shorts or sneakers or flip flops, PLEASE!!!!
